Price Drop For Acer Aspire One

Acer has dropped the price of the Aspire One netbook from $379 to $329. This make the Aspire One the cheapest device of its range: 1.6GHz Atom, 512MB of memory, an 8GB flash drive, and Linux.

The higer-end model, with Windows XP, 1GB of memory, and 120GB of hard drive have also seen a similar $50 cut in pricing, touching $349 from $399.

Besides dropping the price, Acer has also rolled out a new model for the Aspire One with 160GB disk space, and a six-cell battery at the price of $399. Looks like Acer is taking an aggresive approach to win the netbook market.. Watch out, Asus.
