Synchronization of directories and files

For those who want to make backups of type "directory synchronization, there is a free tool, lightweight and efficient Microsoft (unfortunately only in English) that can create" folders synchronized pairs "that SyncToy is in 32 and 64 bits.
It is very easy to define a number of "pairs of directories" qeu can simply sync => what is changed on one side (on your PC) is postponed to another (on a laptop, external drive, internal, memory stick or any other physical media).

This tool can replace the function "Offline Folders" available in versions and Professional Fundamentals XP / Vista / 7.

Step by step:

1 Create a pair of directories

2 Define the type of synchronization:
* Synchronize = New files and changed files are copied both ways, deletions and name changes are also included in both directions.
* Echo = New files and changed files are copied left to right, deletions and name changes are passed from left to right.
* Contribute = New files and changed files are copied left to right, the renamed files are passed from left to right, but not deletes.

3 Naming the pair created

4 Adjust the settings files

Here you can include or exclude certain file types via the "*". Eg: exclude *. mpg or *. mp3 if you do not want to overload the backup with videos or music

5 Perform the first synchronization.
Synchronization is also faster than what can your drives and your hardware.
